I know I keep saying I'll post more about home ed 101 classes, and I will I promise.

Right now I'm just so deeply invested in planning, and applying what we learned there. I can't seem to calm my brain enough for a cohesive blog moment.
I mentioned somewhere else that we are going to be following Charlotte Mason's Principles, and basing our Home School on Living Books. I'm loving her ideas! They spark such a cord with me. Reading her theories of education and children are proving to be life changing for me.

I wanted to share one of her first schools motto with you all tonight:

I am a child of God,
I ought to do His will,
I can do what He tells me,
And by His grace, I will.

Don't you just love that? Someday I will allot more time to share her words, and my goals with you. But tonight I wanted to feel my fingers type that motto- both here for you and across my soul.

It's not often that all my blogs focus on one thing. I keep them separate for a reason. If you follow more then one of them forgive me the multiple posts. But tonight I'm begging you...believer to believer, mama to mama, friend to friend. please pray for Stellan and his family.


If you've never heard of him pop on over by clicking the button. His story is an amazing testament to what a mighty God we serve. Tonight, just like the last few nights I will be on my knees begging God to grant his mother strength to accept His will for her child, and pleading that he will be healed. Please join me and countless others....let our voices be one unified voice bringing this child to the Great Physician.

The last two Home Ed classses have been great. In tonights class we covered the basics of curriculum. Last week we talked about learning styles. These classes have so much information to adsorb! I'm lovin' it!
Tonight I want to talk to Jay about his stance on what I've learned so far, and how we should proceed. I want us to be united in ALL our decisions in this process.
I'll try and actually share the information we've been learning soon. I just need to have time to sit, digest it, and type the yummy bits up for you to chew on too...ok, that reminded me of a cow's digestive track...Bluck! But you get the point. I need time to process.

For tonight my focus is simply to Stop, Drop, and Pray

I want to do all things in His way, and according to His will.
